In 2013, Marg and I went to Tasmania prior to attending a conference in Melbourne. We hired a guide through Inala Nature Tours. We flew into Hobart and spent the 1st night there.

The first evening we went to a city park where we found Common Brushtail Possum invading the garbage bins!

Day 2 - we flew to the South West World Heritage area, accessible only by plane, boat or a long walk (days).

Deny King is a legend in Tasmania - he lived in this small house, raised a family and cared for the land.

Tasmanian Devils - at this nature park they had a breeding program. The devils in the wild are dying out due to a virus that is attacking them.
